Quality is our formula
From the plant in the field to the finished preparation in the hands of the user, our goal is always to meet the strictest quality standards. Hevert preparations work naturally, are of high quality, and have very few side effects.
With the goal of combining the long tradition of naturopathic preparations with the high quality standards of modern medicinal product manufacturing, Hevert aims for a symbiosis between high-tech and traditional methods in the manufacture of its extensive range of homeopathic and herbal medicines as well as micronutrient preparations. A significant number of preparations are manufactured in state-of-the-art cleanrooms at the in-house production facilities at the Nussbaum and Bad Sobernheim sites. The production and laboratory equipment as well as the employees’ level of training are constantly maintained at a state-of-the-art level.
The production of homeopathic and herbal preparations requires particularly high-quality source materials of primarily natural origin. Selective purchasing of raw materials and contractually guaranteed in-house cultivation of herbs, in conjunction with strict quality control on received product, assure a high degree of purity and active ingredient content. In order to preserve our knowledge of the processing of raw materials within the company, to a large extent Hevert itself processes fresh plants, drugs, and minerals into mother tinctures.
All raw materials are inspected for quality in Hevert’s own laboratory before being used in production. Identity and active substance content are just as important as purity and microbiological quality during this process. Raw plant materials are also tested for environmental pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticide residues and aflatoxins.
For micronutrient preparations as well, many varied requirements must be met in the quality and manufacturing process. They are processed under rigorously controlled conditions. Vitamins in particular are often sensitive to light or may react when they come into contact with oxygen and form ineffective decomposition products.
With the finished preparation the focus is on the final confirmation of quality. Again, identity, potency and purity are crucial to the decision to release the product for sale or to reject it. After this final testing, further testing is done to demonstrate that the preparation is stable until the end of the usability period, so that maximum efficacy can be guaranteed for the user.
